Winning Podium 3 Hour Endurance Race!
Garage at NHMS
Hardware at the Loudon Classic Races!
I was introduced to motorcycle road racing in the early 1980's at Bryar Motorsport Park in Loudon, NH. The speed, skill, and beauty of the riders blew me away and the hook was set. After some discussion with dear friends who thought I might have some talent, PTC Racing was born.
Well, it took (more than) a few years but, in 1994 my dream of racing became reality. Bryar Park had become New Hampshire International Speedway and the AAMRR organization had been replaced with the Loudon Road Race Series. Lots of podium finishes and more than our share of wins aboard Yamaha's wonderful FZR400 and the Suzuki SV650 earned us Expert LRRS Lightweight Championships in 1998 and 2002. I also became an Instructor/Coach with the Penguin Racing School. Retirement (HAH!) followed after the 2003 season.
Well, I've been out of retirement for a number of years now, back on a Suzuki SV650 and running up front again! I've returned to coaching with the Penguin School too! I Just couldn't stay away from the fun, the competition, and that very special camaraderie that is road racing with the LRRS. We'll use this space to promote our fantastic sponsors and to share a few stories. Come along for the ride....
BIG NEWS!!! We are ecstatic to announce our continuing primary sponsor for 2018.
Scott and his crew have a fantastic reputation for sales and service in the motorcycle and snow machine industry. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a new ride (they have both new and used bikes and sleds) or if you need service on your machine. Souhegan Valley will be supplying motor work, parts and their expert advice to PTC Racing. We're expecting great things this year! Welcome back Souhegan Valley!
We are thrilled to announce our continuing partnership with Peter Kates and COMPUTRACK BOSTONfor 2018. They are the premier provider of all things chassis and suspension for motorcycles. Pete has been keeping my machines straight and making them handle perfectly for a long time now. He can definitely do the same for your bike.
It is with much delight that we announce our continuing partnership with WOODCRAFT TECHNOLOGIES this year. We have been involved with Woodcraft and Eric Wood since 1999. We've raced and seriously tested almost everything they sell. Woodcraft truly make the best products in the industry.
2018 also brings the return of ARMOUR BODIES as a continuing sponsor. We've crash tested our share of bodywork. And Armour is the toughest stuff yet! It's extremely stylish in design and easy to install too. This will be our 5th year partnered with Armour and we couldn't be happier.
