Hardware at the 2021 Loudon Classic Races!

Garage #26 NHMS

Winning Podium 3 Hour Endurance Race with SVM!

"Let's go to Bryar and catch some AAMRR racing!"  My friend Guy excitedly said to me (a long time ago) and life was forever changed!  Motorcycle road racing was scintillating and drew me in like nothing I'd seen before.  The speed and skill riders demonstrated on that old Bryar road course blew me away and the hook was set.  After much discussion with some dear friends, who thought I might have some talent, PTC Racing was born.

In 1994 my dream of racing finally became reality.  Bryar Motorsport Park had become New Hampshire International Speedway and the AAMRR organization had been replaced with the Loudon Road Race Series (LRRS). Lots of podium finishes and more than our share of wins aboard Yamaha's wonderful FZR400 and Suzuki's SV650 earned us Expert LRRS (now NEMRR) Lightweight Championships in 1998 and 2002.  I also became an Instructor/Coach with the Penguin Racing School.  Retirement (HAH!) followed after the 2003 season.

Well, I came out of retirement in 2012, got back on a Suzuki SV650, and began running up front again!  I returned to coaching and teaching with the prestigious Penguin School too!  I simply couldn't stay away from the fun, the competition, and that very special camaraderie that is road racing with the LRRS.

For 2021 I'll be returning with the KTM 790 Duke.  We learned a ton about how to get the Duke around the track quickly in 2020.  And we are looking forward to continuing to develop this platform. We have the best garage team in all of NEMRR with Eric, Eli and Jim.  The vibe here is fantastic with this crew.  We're also blessed with the worlds best supporters in this endeavor. and I expect to see great results.

We'll use this space to promote our fantastic sponsors and share a few stories.  Come on along for the ride....

Breaking News

NEMRR by Mayhew Tools 98th Loudon Classic

We entered 4 classes (8 races) for the Loudon Classic weekend! A busy time for sure but we achieved great results.  Two top 10 finishes in the Lightweight GP class races, two 4th place finishes in Lightweight SuperSport, two 3rd place finishes in F50, and a win and a second in F60!

LWGP had us starting deeper on the grid because we had no points in the class for 2021.  I decided to run the class for the extra exposure and the track time.  LWSS had me racing the kids and I think I held my own.  A few more tenths of a second per lap should get me in the mix for a podium here.

F50's two podiums were hard fought and quite satisfying.  And the results in F60 have us leading the points in the class.  It's still early and, with John Grush running well, nothing can be taken for granted.

Thanks to all our supporters and to REB Graphics' Reese Briody for a stellar new look to the KTM!  See the pic above!  Truly great work.

Antham Leathers  will again be our racing suit sponsor for the 2021 NEMRR season!

Antham is a relatively new name on the block.  But, don't let that fool you.  Antham has solid features, beautiful custom designs, and outstanding customer service. I expect we'll be hearing many more great things from Joe and Antham in the future. Thank you!

FORMA BOOTS USA

Forma Boots have been our boot choice for a couple years now and we are VERY pleased to be partnering with Forma again for the 2021 NEMRR season. We have found them to have superior fit and protection compared to other brands we've tried in the past.  PTC Racing is excited to continue this relationship and we hope to for a long time to come!

BIG THANKS to our Returning Partners for 2021

SOUHEGAN VALLEY MOTORSPORTS

Scott and his crew at SVM have a well earned "Best in Industry" reputation for sales and service in the motorcycle, ATV, and snow machine industry.  I offer my best recommendation if you're looking for a new ride (they have both new and used bikes and sleds) or if you need service on your machine.  Souhegan Valley will be supplying motor work, parts and their always expert advice to PTC Racing.  Welcome back Souhegan Valley!

We are thrilled to announce our continuing partnership with Peter Kates and COMPUTRACK BOSTONfor 2021.  They are the premier provider of all things chassis and suspension for motorcycles. Pete has been keeping my machines straight and making them handle perfectly since the wheel was invented. They don't call him "Caveman" for nothing!  Whether on the street or the track, Peter can definitely make your bike handle better and ride smoother.

It is with much delight that we will continue our partnership with WOODCRAFT TECHNOLOGIES.  PTC Racing has been involved with Woodcraft and Eric Wood since 1999.  We've raced and seriously tested (yes, crashed!) almost everything they sell.  Woodcraft truly make the best designed and best quality products in the industry.

2021 also brings the return of ARMOUR BODIES as a continuing sponsor.  We've crash tested our share of their bodywork.  And Armour is the toughest stuff yet!  It's extremely stylish in design and easy to install too. This will be our 8th year partnered with Armour and we couldn't be happier.
